BACKGROUND
We shall use two major global events which are well known to most of mankind and which are intimately related to the supernatural events in Fátima, Portugal, in 1917.
The Plague
This is the plague that struck mankind during the 1st Quarter of the 20th Century and which, by causing somewhere between 20 and 50 million deaths, forced the end of World War I.
Given the state of the world at that time, the war would have continued with even greater suffering and a higher death toll, if Divine Providence had not allowed such plague upon humanity.
Thus, the Mercy of God saved the world from further unspeakable suffering while giving the necessary instructions to avoid "...a worse one."
The Atomic Bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Naturally, people continued "...offending God...", the Roman Catholic Church Administration ignored the requests to: (a) Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and (b) Establish the First Saturday of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, therefore, logically, "a worse one", World War II, broke out in 1939 all the while communist Russia continued to spread its atheistic errors throughout the world.
By this time (3), some Vatican and lesser religious leaders shed their skepticism and partial amends with Heaven were made. Believe it or not, the events of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were an integral part of the Divine response to such amends.
miguel de Portugal, during his scientific career, had the opportunity to intimately work with the representatives of the Japanese industrial complex, at all professional levels and at either side of the Pacific rim. Although he was far from suspecting what God had in store for him, he quickly realized that the achievement of the surrender of Japan, thus, the end of the war, by conventional methods would have prolonged the war for years at the expense of millions upon millions of American and Japanese lives. (Keep in mind - God is also the Creator and Father of the Japanese Nationals.)
Their mentality and religious fanaticism centered on their Emperor-God would have forced them to fight to the last man. This illuminated observation has been amply confirmed by independent and scientific psycho-evaluation of the Japanese culture.
Through the staggering psychological impact of the nuclear holocausts unleashed upon Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Emperor-God was able to surrender while "saving face" - something of utmost importance in Japanese culture, most specially for their leaders.
No; we do not believe in war. We do not even believe in the adulterous Vatican approving "Just Wars" (4), however, the world was at war then, the death toll was already approaching fifty million people and God had to allow, not cause, but allow, something that would: (a) Significantly reduce the human suffering; (b) Dispense Divine Justice; while (c) Prophecy was being fulfilled (5). This, obviously, was the most expedient way.
